A Spirit of Creativity

The Highlights

  • Embrace Your Creativity – Whether it’s writing, decorating, problem-solving, or simply the way you greet someone, recognize your creativity and use it every day. Think of it as worship!
  • Try Something New – Experiment with a new way of doing something today: wear something bold, cook a new meal, or sing a song to God. Express yourself to the glory of God!
  • See Your Work as Part of God's Story – Whatever you do, remember that it contributes to the greater vision of God’s kingdom. Act and live like it.
  • Spend Time in Wonder – Allow yourself space to hover, to reflect, and to appreciate the beauty in everyday life. Creativity often comes from stillness and attentiveness.

Questions for Reflection

  • What is one small creative act you can do today that aligns with your God-given passion?
  • Where in your life do you feel stuck in a routine? How might creativity help you break free?
  • How does knowing that your work—however small—contributes to God’s greater story encourage you?
  • What practical steps might you take this week to cultivate a greater sense of creativity in your daily life?
